I'm going to start off by saying that 3.5 stars doesn't mean that I didn't like this story. I did. I enjoyed the characters and the little bit of backstory that we got in the beginning. I just felt like everything after was a bit rushed. There was a great foundation that started it all, I just wish this was more than a novella. I actually didn't know it was one going in so it was definitely a surprise. It was a good, quick story that helped me until I decided on my next read. I did love the ending(s), that's for sure. I think that was my favorite part because of how it had me laughing.
