Seriously, If I could give this book 10 stars I would!
Oh my god, this book is one that is overpoweringly emotional. It is full of grief, sadness, manipulation and hope. It is about loss and mistakes and moving on.
Cam has lost it all and years later he is still so deeply entrenched in his grief that he can’t see straight. One phone call changes everything for him in more ways than one.
Everly is a bit of an enigma right from the get go & at the end you learn why. Cameron on the other hand is a completely open book. What you see is what you get with him.
These are two people who have weathered the storm life has thrown at them and have come out a little worse for wear. This is a 2 part series so this book does end in a kind of cliff hanger but I understand book 2 is well and truly on the way so the wait will be short.
This is one of those books that rips your emotions to shreds and has you feeling like your heart is being put back together only to have it ripped out again!
I can’t say too much more without giving the story away but boy am I anxiously waiting for book 2 to blow up my kindle!
