I love books about a family. So this series I snatched up (and because its Adriana Locke, lol) We've met Lance in the previous book. He's a teacher. But one of those sexy nerdy teachers and he loves his kids and his family.
Mariah is feisty sexy and kind women, and she's a librarian (love these types of books) and who doesn't love librarians. And these two together, perfect. Their banter, their pretend to not like each other, even though she bakes him cupcakes (which she will vehemently deny) I loved it. But these two are also two people who are in need of some healing, each having gone through their own hurts and maybe the two of them are just what the other needs.

If you haven't read books from this author, then I suggest you give it a try. Funny, sexy, sweet pure Romance, second chance friends to lovers type of romances, that you will basically devour in half a day, lol
I cannot wait for the next book in this series, so excited.
