Blurb

It had to be a joke.

Any minute now, a van would drive up and Ashton Kutcher would slide the door open, laughing hysterically at my melodramatic performance on the front porch.

But nothing happened.

The words on the page jumbled into a toxic mess my brain refused to comprehend, much less accept.

Please consider this letter as a formal request to arrange a paternity test (DNA).

I barely remembered Chelsea Airy.

That wasn’t true—we’d gone out once, and we’d been friends for a while after. But I hadn’t heard so much as a peep from her since I’d gotten married. I’d reached out a handful of times, but she’d quit responding and fell off the face of the earth. There hadn’t been a text, an email, a phone call, not even a Facebook message, much less a stork in the last five years.

My wife could forgive a lot, but she’d never wanted children—much less another woman’s.

REVIEW BY: LEEANN

I was a bit conflicted while reading this book. I enjoyed it, but it did drag on a bit long in the 1st half. The 2nd half however, was interesting and captivating.

This is the story of two people who meet in high school and are a perfect match. They both come from wealthy families but have very different backgrounds.
They begin their journey and think they know which direction they are heading in but life has a way of getting in the way and their journey takes a severe detour leaving everyone wondering if they will ever get back on track.

This is a story about life and curveballs and making the best of a situation while life comes full circle.
As I said, it does start of slow, but once you get to about the half way mark it becomes a story that wraps you up in the emotion of the characters and by the time you get to the end you feel like their world is complete.
The characters are relatable (Except for the filthy rich part!), likeable and the support characters are highly entertaining and a huge part of the main characters lives.

This is a story that is well worth one clicking. It is a little bit sexy, a little bit angsty and is very warm and fuzzy too!

4 STARS
