Holy crap this book is amazing.
Defiant Queen picks up where Ruthless King left off but is bigger and sexier than ever!
In this instalment we see a completely different side to Kiera and a shockingly contrasting side to Mount. You think you know him but you don’t! He is just full of suprises.
The complexities of these two characters is mind boggling. In theory, they shouldn’t be a match but they really are. If you took away the circumstances they are perfect for each other.
The support characters are at times more of an enigma that Mount himself and keep thigs well balanced.
There is not a huge amount I can say without giving spoilers except that I absolutely have loved this series so far and cannot wait for book 3 to come out!! I seriously cannot wait to see what happens next.

This story continues where Ruthless King left off. Early on in this story we get some answers to questions some may have had at the end of book one. And as the story continues, the "relationship" between Mount and Kiara continues to grow. For me, I felt the story was lacking some of the thrilling, suspense we saw in the first part. There was a lot that seemed to have happened in the first story and I wished I could have seen that more in this one. The chemistry between these two is still super hot! And I'm sure that will continue to grow. But I am curious as to see what will happen next. There are still some secrets that need to be found out and we have to wait and see what will come about when they surface.
