I always get so excited for a new Meghan March book because her writing is always spot on! I reallly enjoyed the direction this story was going. A big celebrity fall for the local bar worker and she has sass! And a lot of it! That's what made the story fun to read! She gave Boone a run for his money but of course, Boone wasn't taking no for an answer.
While I felt there was a lot of potential for the story, the storyline fell a little flat to me. There wasn't a lot of drama or BIG moments that really makes your jaw drop. But overall, the story is well written, with good flow and I loved the characters. Boone was hot and screamed alpha and Ripley is a tough chick who can hold her own. I am looking forward to reading the next and hope it brings on all the drama!

Meghan March is a new author to me and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed her book.
The main characters Ripley & Boone are feisty and they have a constant battle of the wills whenever they are in the same room!
Ripley has been dealt a bit of a crap hand and is left dealing with the consequences of other people’s bad decisions. But she is a fighter
and this shines through any time the story flicks to her POV.
Boone is a country singing star. He is having a rough time but can’t fight the attraction he feels towards Ripley. He is quite funny
because every time he attempts to do a good deed it seems to blow up in his face and yet he comes back for more.
This story is well told and the plot is solid. The words flow well and there are no real gaps in the story. There is a little bit of drama
but nothing too over the top. There is some angst involved but again it’s not too over the top and doesn’t leave you rolling your eyes.
Overall I enjoyed the first part of Ripley and Boones story and look forward to not only reading more about them but also more from this author.
