Synopsis
Love struck me at the early age of five. The boy turned into a man, and I fell even deeper. Guy Webb had no idea my fragile heart belonged to him for so many years. He was too busy being my brother’s best friend and a star on the football field. He was my daydream, and consumed every single thought, but he was always one step from my reach.
Beartooth Ranch was our home. The rich ranch land raised us, fostered our laughs, losses, and even gained a new family member when Guy moved in for his sophomore year of high school.
I hid my love for years. But now he’s back. Guy Webb returned a broken soldier after serving his country all over the atlas. And now it’s my job to help him heal.
My family lost everything with his return and I can only hope I survive it.

Phenomenal! I knew going in that I would love this book. I am a huge fan of this author and have loved everything I have read of hers. However, I was not prepared for the level of emotion that she brought to the table with these characters. This storyline blew me away and left me in tears, breathless with my feelings. Every once in a while, you come across a book that will not only touch your heart, but will forever brand your soul. Royal Atlas is my soul marking book for 2016. This is not just a story, or a book. It is a journey, to be started with your heart fully open and ready to "feel" everything along the way. These characters (all of them, not just Molly and Guy) are everything. There are some LOL moments, some "aaawww" moments, and some epically tear worthy moments. If you do not read any other book this year, it MUST be this one. You will fall in love as deeply as I did.

Ok so I finished this book a couple of days ago and have been sitting on the review because I honestly didn't know if I would be able to extract the words to do it justice.

Molly and Guy share such an unexplainable and unbreakable connection. Their love is timeless and lasts through the years.
Within this story you are transported to another place completely. I was so swept up in what I was reading that I lost track of all time and became completely oblivious to what was going on around me.
From the very beginning the love  pours off the pages and not just from Molly and Guy but also from Amos and Molly's parents.
Even though Amos was a bit of a bugger in the beginning he truly loved his sister and his best friend and only ever wanted happiness for them.
The bond Molly and Guy share will last for eternity and shape the lives and loves of their own children just like Mollys parents shaped hers and Guys.
There are traditions within this family that are passed from generation to generation and only further cement the love this  whole family has for each  other.

Now I did need wine and tissues for this book and I would probably highly recommend you don't read it in a public place.. I sobbed that much at times that people would have looked at me strange if I was in public. In saying that, I also laughed my butt of at times. Molly is hilarious and comes out with the most awesome stuff sometimes!
At rhe end of the day, Molly is a sweetheart and Guy is an absolute gentleman until the end.

The story is told in the 1st person but is at times in the present with Tessi (Guy and Molly's daughter) and than at times by Molly herself.

This is a definite must read!

Review by Gina:
You know you are starting a great book when you haven't even made it through the prologue and you already feel all the butterflies!

I loved how the author told the story in a flashback. It gave the book that extra push from good to AMAZING because you get all those feelings right at the beginning. I just absolutely loved it! There was the perfect balance between all those emotions, the good, the bad, the sad, the joyful. It just made for such a well-rounded book. The characters where amazing! They all had their struggles and I loved reading how they were able to over come those struggles. It just made the book feel so...real! And for the fact the author made me shed actual tears, which very rarely happens, just shows how truly emotional this book is.

There are not enough praises I can give to the author for this one! It was such a beautiful, yet tragic love story. It is one of those stories that you will never forget. The writing was fantastic, the story was phenomenal. There were a lot of little touches the author put in the book that made it even more special!. Royal Atlas being one of them and how that was incorporated into the story. I loved the Amos quotes at the beginning of the chapters, it showed how much of an impact he had in the story.

HJ Bellus did an amazing job capturing ALL the emotions in the book!!! I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I felt joy and I felt sorrow. If you need a book to make you feel, this is it! This is a must read but be sure to have a box of tissues handy!
