About the Book:

“Alice Gaines will tantalize your romance taste buds with a book you can’t put down until the very last page.” NYT bestselling author Jasmine Haynes

Her brother’s best friend is not only the hottest man Michelle Dennis has ever seen, he’s the one man she hopes to avoid after leaving town eight years ago. Of course he’s the one waiting at the airport. Worse, he made sure they’re staying in the same house.

Pro football player Alex Stafford is expecting to pick up his friend’s kid sister, not a full-fledged bombshell. He was planning to apologize for their past, but the feelings he had years ago come roaring back…and this time, there’s no denying them.

Keeping his hands off is a test he’s bound to fail—especially when they’re stuck in close quarters. But falling in love with Michelle, living in her world, isn’t an option for a guy like him. And remembering that will save them both a lot of heartache…

This was such a sweet read. While at times I found both the hero and heroine to be absurd and stuck in their head, I truly loved the way everything went.

Michelle, or Mickey as everyone back home knows her, is headed home for the first time in 8 years. She's excited and nervous all at the same time. Excited to see her family and nervous to see the man who was the cause of her running away for so long. Embarrassment will do that to you.
Alex is the said guy. He's seen his errors and wants nothing more than to set everything straight. In the heat of the moment, some words may have just come out. He didn't mean then, but what's done is done. All he can do now is hope that Mickey will let him apologize and get past it all.

I loved seeing the pull between these two. While they tried to fight it for different reasons, they're just so right together. They did tend to get stuck in their heads, thinking they weren't right for each other for different reasons or that things wouldn't work out because of different circumstances. These ideas almost made them miss out on something great. Once they quit thinking so much and started listening to everyone around them, they realize that something with this much possibility is worth taking a chance on. I loved everyone in this book. I can't wait to see what Alice Gaines has planned next.

Michelle had always had a crush on her brothers best friend Alex. All it took was one instance between the two of them that had Michelle leaving town. Fast forward 8 years later and she gets thrown into spending time with him. Was she the only one who had feelings 8 years ago? Do those feelings still exist now?

While I didn't necessarily dislike this book I did feel a little thrown off. I enjoyed the comedy that Alex and Michelle provided, I just wish there wasn't so much hot and cold coming from them. I felt like I got whip lash trying to keep up.

If you're looking for a fast, brothers best friend romance, I say pick this one up and give it a try.

This was a 3rd person story (I'm not a huge fan of 3rd person) but I still enjoyed it!  Who doesn't love a off limits love story...who can date your best friends little sister??? The story of Alex & Michelle is cute and sweet and all in a easy read but I do wish it was in 1st person! I feel like you connect more with the characters and to know why was going on inside their minds would had made me fall more for this story!

Looking for a easy, fun read then grab this and dive into Off Limits!!!!
