The Fix-Up by Kendall Ryan • COVER REVEAL

We are very excited to bring you the highly anticipated cover for THE FIX-UP, the standalone novel from New York Times Bestselling Author Kendall Ryan.

The Fix-Up releases on October 11.

The Fix Up Kendall Ryan ebook cover

From New York Times Bestseller, Kendall Ryan, comes a sexy new standalone novel. My tempting, and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits. It's not just that we're friends, he's also a cocky, confident, and British, which means he's a walking aphrodisiac. But lately he's been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I'm not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long. And then we start working together, and that's when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I've harbored for him disappear, because there's no way this can end well. The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I'm stuck between a rock, and Sterling's very, very hard place. Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together. But I've been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I'm not about to be cast aside like yesterday's underwear when he's done having fun. Sterling’s never been told no, and he's not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he'd fight so dirty.   *This is a spin-off from the HITCHED series, but can be read as a standalone. Add to Goodreads

Wyatt's Melody (The Pub, #2.5) by Nicole De La Cruz • Blog Tour & Review

Wyatt's Melody (The Pub, #2.5)
by Nicole De La Cruz

OUT NOW

After years of being stuck in her abusive mothers trailer, Melody Turner finally has a chance to find herself. Eighteen years old, with a full scholarship to a school in New York, Melody feels free. The problem is that she somehow finds herself repeating history. Fearing that she may become exactly like her mother, Melody intends to hide away in her dorm. When her best friend Rowan won't allow that, she finds herself attending a show in New York City that could possibly change her life forever.

Wyatt Foster lives life on his own terms. He has no interest in his parents' wealth or the law firm his family has been pressuring him to be a part of. Instead, Wyatt finds that he can escape the pressure of his family through music as lead guitarist of the popular band My Soul To Keep.

Priorities shift when he sees her and Wyatt's life begins to take a turn.

Review by: Leeann

Melody is quite & shy. She pretty much had any self confidence she may have had beaten out of her both verbally & physically by her alcoholic mother.
She survived though & is now making a life for herself away from her family & going to college.

Wyatt is the complete opposite. He has had everything given to him his whole life, and now, he is turning his back on it all.
He is not looking for a relationship but as soon as he lays his eyes on Melody he is a goner.

This story draws you in easily & is a nice way to forget the world for a few hours.
It is YA & so there is no sex or deviousness, just a beautiful story about a young woman discovering who she is & finding a once in a lifetime
love where she least expected it.
The support characters are great (Except for Tori) & I am hoping Rowan & her brother get their stories told too!

Well worth the read if you like feel good romance!

Review by: Tracy

Melody had a hard life living with her mother so when she got a scholarship to a school that would take her to the other side of the country she took it. She is shy, quiet and probably a little nieve when it comes to a big city like New York. Melody made a great friend, Rowen, who plays in a band. That's how we meet Wyatt.
Sigh....Wyatt has to be the total package. Definitely a top contender in the book boyfriend category.
I absolutely adore the Pub series by Nicole De La Cruz and Wyatt's Melody was just has great as the first two books in the series. Now you don't need to read the others to be able to read Wyatt's Melody, but you'll recognize names from that are mentioned if you do. This was the perfect novella in the Pub series.
Can't wait to read more and see some of these characters again!

Review by: Erin

This was a great novella. A great way to stay connected with the series and get a glimpse of some secondary characters. Melody is fabulous. She is a young woman determined to not follow in the footsteps of her mother. She has b*lls to set out to a new city, new way of life, where she knows nobody. She is very shy and introverted. Likes to stick to herself, not make waves. When she finally lets her hair down, she finds her person. Wyatt is everything that Melody needs. A man that knows what he wants and takes his time with it. This story is very sweet, not overly full of steamy scenes. Just that slow-burning, deep connection that I love between characters. Definitely fed my craving for more of this series.

4 Stars

When I first laid eyes on Melody, even through her leather jacket, I could tell she was different and, after Rowan introduced me to her, I knew she wasn’t the typical girl at the rock show. The way she handled herself, she was shy and timid, but it’s what made her real. I know I must have looked like a creep just staring at her that night, but I’m not sorry for it. I couldn’t help myself; I was drawn to her. I loved the way she blushed every time she would catch me staring. When she would talk, her voice was soft like velvet and made my heart race.  Whenever she would laugh at the stupid things I said it felt like a win every single damn time. I wanted to make her do it over and over because I knew I was the reason she was happy.

Despite the angelic perfection that was sitting next to me, one thing I would change about her is the way she always covered her smile with her hand when she would laugh. It was frustrating and I had to fight the urge to grab her hand and hold it in mine.

I don’t know what made me ask her out. I knew girls like Melody didn’t go out with guys like me, but I went for it anyway and I was so stoked that she actually said yes. I just hope I don’t make myself look like a fool in front of her. Usually I don’t have a hard time with girls, but with Melody, and the way she looks tonight, she’s got me sweating.

Nicole is a new author that has recently decided to pursue her passion of writing. Something she has been wanting to do since she was a little girl, and thanks to the push of her husband she is now living her dream.
Almost every single day you can either find her reading or listening to music. She got into reading when she picked up her first Sarah Dessen book and hasn’t stopped since.
She is an easy going person that likes to spend time with her husband and their three cats, drink wine, listen to Breaking Benjamin, and try out new recipes.

RUSH by CA Harms • BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

Title: Rush
Series: Montgomery Men #1
Author: C.A. Harms
Genre: Contemporary/Suspense Romance
Release Date: Available Now

I was running from my husband, a man I thought I’d known.
Running from the hell he had put me through.
He’d nearly destroyed the woman I had once been and
I would do whatever it took to regain my freedom.
I would lie, and cheat.
I would steal if it meant that I never had to go back there.
I’d run and keep running…
But there was one problem. I hadn’t planned for Ashton Montgomery.
He was a distraction I couldn’t allow. Not if I wanted to stay safe. I had to remain distant, but he was relentless and had other ideas.
I caved because I hadn’t thought it all through, not in detail.
If I had I would’ve realized that you can only live in a fantasy world for so long before everything came crashing in around you.
And those lives you’ve destroyed along the way, make you no better than the monster you were trying to break free from.
How could I have been so careless?
It wasn’t meant to turn out this way.
But the Rush of my freedom took control and I forgot how important it was to keep the secret of who I had once been.
And now I had nothing.
Only the fear that the man I’d run from would find me again, and finish what he started.

OMG!!! Words cannot express what I felt while reading this books. The author has really outdone herself this time. I have to admit that I am a HUGE fan of CA Harms. I am talking stalker level huge. I have read every one of her books and have fallen in love every time I open a new one. Her characters are always very well developed. Her storylines are phenomenal. They will make you wish you were a part of the story, just so you could say you were there. I know without a doubt that I will love her books. I don’t even read the blurbs anymore. I go in blind and am never disappointed. This story was very emotional and kept me in tears. It was a good thing that I stocked up my tissues before starting this book. This storyline was incredible, so complex and addictive. Kinsley had my heart in the first chapter. Ashton was quick to follow. These characters were exceptional. Ashton is a very protective, resourceful, yet compassionate man. Kinsley is a very strong woman who turns her life upside down and becomes someone else. These two have a deep attraction from the start. The fire builds slowly to an explosion of epic proportions.  This story has all the “feels” and has left its indelible mark on my heart. A Top Read of 2016.

EXCERPT!

She’d turned on her heel and begun to walk toward my office door when without a second thought I hooked her around the waist and pulled her body back against my own. She yelped, but I didn’t let it halt me.
The smell of her perfume mixed with her shampoo filled my nostrils, and for a moment I just took in the fragrance. I had never smelled anything more appealing. “Let me prove it to you,” I whispered. She was tense in my arms, and I knew I needed to tread lightly. Something told me that telling her I wanted nothing more than to pin her against the wall, reach beneath her skirt, and find the spot that drove her crazy would only terrify her. Yes, my usual tactics would not work on Kiera.

“Have dinner with me,” I whispered against her ear. “You pick the place and the time, anywhere you want.” I fought the urge to demand her presence, which was my usual method because most women I ran across said yes without hesitation.

But she wasn’t like the women I’d been with in the past.
“Today was refreshing after all the tension faded,” she confessed, and I felt relieved that she thought so too. But it faded as she continued to speak. “I think it’s best that we keep things between us strictly professional. I just don’t have room in my life for anything more.”
I felt like she’d just kicked me in the nuts.
“I don’t know what happened to you,” I said in return, and though she tensed in my arms again, I went on. “I don’t know why you’re so scared of giving this thing between us a chance, but I won’t give up. It’s not who I am, Kiera. I’m a fighter, and when I have my sights set on something I want, I don’t give up until I’ve won.”

I moved closer, making sure she could feel my lips against her neck when I continued to talk. “And you are all I think about. It’s quite distracting.”
Chills covered her neck and shoulder as she shivered in my arms.

Fighting my arousal was becoming more and more of a challenge. I was so fucking wired and turned on I felt like my balls were about to explode.
“I don’t lie, and I don’t hide the way I feel.” I closed my eyes tightly and tipped my head just enough that her hair brushed against the tip of my nose. God, her scent was pure heaven. “I want you, Kiera,” I confessed, becoming lost in her presence, lost to the feel of my body pressed tightly against hers. “I know that seems to terrify you, but I need you to know. I won’t stay away; I can’t. I want to feel you against me, hold you close, and hear the sound of your pants in my ear. I won’t lie to you, Kiera,” I reiterated. “I won’t ever lie to you.”

Review by: Amy C

"I want to succumb to a man who will take charge and protect me, who will do the thinking for me and leave me to just feel ".... SOOOOO MANY FEELS FROM THIS BOOK. I was able  to feel, see and hear everything that Keir and Jessica were experiencing. I could relate to the story and its entirety. These stories just keep getting better and better as they progress & I am convinced that Karina can write no wrong. She has the capability to bring out feels that I didn't even know I had and make me crave more and more of the story. This one was no exception...LITERALLY CRAVE IT!!!!

Keir is mysterious and complex, while Jessica is more of an open book. I love how both of these radically different characters became so intimately entertained that their differences became their similarities. They were beautifully messed up yet randomly perfect. I loved this story from the elaborate description of setting making me feel like I was with them on their Scottish journey. I loved the simplicity of an old fashioned road trip that was theirs for discovery of land but actually became theirs for discovery of each other. Again...brilliant!!!

I seriously did not want this book to end. From the beginning, my heart felt everything for theses two. I wanted their own messed up universes to collide and mash together and for them to find ultimate sinful happiness together. Believing that the soul is attracted to its perfect other half. Theirs was a journey full of freak.n road blocks and detours but their unending want to figure it out together was EVERYTHING.

Fantastic book, best scenery, magnificent characters & beautiful story. I loved the enter-twinning characters from previous books so much!! My need to know what happened to them was quelled a little with their cameos. I completely recommend is story and pretty much anything Karina writes. Heart stopping journey and inspiring read.

Review by: Gina

Wow! Just WOW! Karina Halle takes us on a very emotional rollercoaster ride! From the very beginning I was hooked. I author gave us the BAM! OMG! moment from the start and it just continued from there.

Jessica and Keir are two very complex characters. Both had went through so much in their lives but they never gave up. They used each other as strength to keep moving forward and because of that you can see the character development in both of them. That made for a wonderfully written novel.

I've read several books from this author and I think, this one, is the most emotional story that I have read from her. It plays into some emotions that revolve around current headlines that we see in the news today. It makes it seem so real! I found the story to be well written, the story flowed nicely and kept me engaged throughout the story. There was just one scene that started out really sweet but then went kind of weird to me. It could just be a personal preference, but I wasn't feeling it.

Overall, this book was amazing! So much emotion!!! The storyline was really great. Two "damaged" people who are able to over come their fears and move forward with their lives. It sends a great message about courage. This book is a standalone. While characters from previous books are mentioned, they are not pivotal to the story. Pick this one up, it is a must read!

EXCERPT:
“You’re not going anywhere,” he says. “Sit. I’ll get you another drink.”   “It’s getting late,” I say feebly but I sit down anyway, my leg giving a protest of pain.   “You need something for that?” he says, noticing my wince.   “The scotch will do fine,” I tell him quickly, not wanting him to make a fuss. “But really, I should go.”   “Why?” he asks from the kitchen. I hear the top pop off the bottle, the slosh of liquid in the glass. “Where do you have to be?”   I have to think about that for a moment. He comes over and holds out the glass. “I won’t keep you here if you don’t want to be here. But if you do want to be here, you don’t need to make any excuses.”   I take the glass from him, holding it delicately in my fingers. He stands over me, a massive wall, waiting for some kind of response.   “I just…” I begin. “I…” I take a sip for bravery. Swallow. “I’m not very good at this.”   “Good at what?”   “At…this. Being with a man.”   When he doesn’t say anything to that, I look up at him. He’s got a peculiar smile on his face, his brows raised. “You call this being with a man?”   I clear my throat, feeling my cheeks grow hot. “I mean. I’ve told you before –”   “Yes, how you don’t do relationships, how you don’t do sex.”   “I never said I don’t do sex,” I remind him quickly.   His eyes never stop searching my face. “Then what is it? What are you afraid to say?”   I have the sudden urge to flee and I know it must show because he suddenly points at me and says, “Don’t you dare say you have to go again. I want you to go back to what you said, that you’re not good at this. What is this? Us? You and me? There’s nothing mystifying about you and me, Jessica. You know quite well how I feel.”   I stare at him in shock. I do? “How?”   He looks off with an air of impatience. “I invited you to dinner, you turned me down.”   “But then you said just as friends.”   “And I meant it. But there are different types of friends. It’s up to you to decide what kind we are.”   I put my drink down with a clunk. “Holy pressure.” And now it’s not just my face going hot but my entire body, flushed from head to toe.   “You’re on fire, little red,” he says, his gaze skirting over my limbs in such a hungry way I can almost feel them on my skin. “I have to say, I like this look on you. Hot and bothered.”   “Back with the innuendos again,” I comment but my voice is weak.   “No, no innuendos this time. You came looking for me tonight not because you wanted to confess but because you want something from me. What is it? What do you want from me? What do you think I can give you?”   Jesus. This is so utterly unnerving. His words slice right through me, his eyes still peeling under the layers, trying to get at something I’m not even sure of myself.   If I lie, he’ll know. I can only be honest with him.   “I want…” I take in a deep breath, my eyes breaking away. “I want…company.”   “Company?” He sounds surprised.   I nod. “That’s the truth. I’m lonely. And I’m afraid. And I’m tired of being both those things. I want to be with someone who makes me forget who I am. You make me feel fearless in a way I didn’t think possible.”   There. That’s the truth. Most of it. It hangs in the air, thickening the tension like flour to stock.   He sits down next to me, has a mouthful of Scotch. “Wow,” he says, running his hand over the beard on his jaw. “And here I was thinking you wanted my cock.”   I burst out laughing. So does he, a big wonderful bellow. The tension in the room eases up a notch.   “Sorry,” I tell him when I catch my breath. “I guess they can both mean the same thing.”   He sucks in his lip briefly, his eyes taking a lustful turn. “If you want it to.” We stare at each other for a few heavy beats. Then his focus trails back to my gaze and he says, “Why don’t you stay over?”   And there I have it. The chance to know what those full lips would feel like on mine, what his skin would taste like. I swallow hard.

Meet Heather Leigh
heather c leigh bio.jpg

Heather C. Leigh is the author of the Amazon best selling Famous series. She likes to write about the 'dark' side of fame. The part that the public doesn't get to see, how difficult it is to live in a fishbowl and how that affects relationships.

Heather was born and raised in New England and currently lives outside Atlanta, GA with her husband, 2 kids, and French Bulldog, Shelby.

She loves the Red Sox, the Patriots, and anything chocolate (but not white chocolate, everyone knows it's not real chocolate so it doesn't count) and has left explicit instructions in her will to have her ashes snuck into Fenway Park and sneakily sprinkled all over while her family enjoys beer, hot dogs, and a wicked good time.

My favorite authors are Dan Wells, Ken Follett, and Stephen King.

Happy reading!
