Until Harry by LA Casey • BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

Title: Until Harry
Author: L.A. Casey
Genre: Contemporary, Romance, New Adult
Publisher: Montlake Romance
Release Date: July 19

Like nothing you have ever read from L.A. Casey before, a story of loss, love, and finding yourself in the darkest of times.

He was my best friend, my best not-really-big-brother and my best protector. He was my best everything. He was mine.
Coming home is hard for Lane. Hard because Harry, her beloved uncle, has died suddenly, but also because of him. Kale.
Kale Hunt has been her best friend since childhood. But it was never that simple. He was Lane’s reason for leaving home and moving to New York. Seeing him with someone else, in love with someone else, shouldn’t have hurt. But it did. It really, really did. So she upped sticks and left, started a new life and cut herself off from her past.
But now she’s back and all the feelings are right there. As if she had never left.
Emotions are running high for everyone, and tragedy has a funny way of bringing people together. But is Lane reading the signs right? Are they still just friends, or is there something more?

I am a huge L.A. Casey fan and Until Harry is completely different to her other work.

This is Lane and Kale's story.  Their story began as children and continues into adulthood.   The book is told from Lane's point of view, and L.A. Casey has done a magnificent job of creating a character that you completely connect and relate with.

Until Harry is a highly emotive story, filled with loss and heartbreak.  This book had me ugly crying within pages of starting and I continued for most of this book.  This story is not an easy one to read, but it is well worth it and the story will stay with you afterwards.  This book left me with a huge book hangover.

This is one of my must reads for 2016!

I am so, so impressed with LA Casey.  She took a step outside of her comfort zone (The Slater Brothers) and put out an absolutely brilliant book.  The writing was impeccable, the characters were relatable, and the storyline had all the feels times about ten.

Lane and Kale's story is not an easy one.  It is full of conflict, love, friendship, misunderstandings, and just a perfectly imperfect love story.  It had my heart racing, my gut clenching, and tears streaming down my face.

LA has truly shown that her writing skills are vast and I can't wait to see what her brilliant mind thinks of next.

This was my 1st book by LA CASEY and I enjoyed it! Until Harry had a cute story and I loved Lane and Kale's story! I loved the flashbacks to learn about young Lane & Kale and being able to see where it all began!!! Their lives were tightly woven with so many ups and downs!!! And their LOVE oh it was soooo addicting!!! My heart broke for the characters along the way for the loss and things they endured!  I don't want to give any spoilers so grab this and fall in love with Kale and Lane's story and be ready to go on a journey of how they came to be!!!

Reading the excerpt I jumped at the chance to read this. I thought it was going to be a friends to lovers story. Dammit, it was not like that at all. AT ALL!  Lane has been in love with Kale for as long as she could remember. So when she saw him living the life she wanted with another woman, she did what she had to do. 6 years later she comes back to the life she left behind when her Uncle Harry dies.
God! This story was so much more than I thought it was going to be. Heartache and angst are two of my most favorite things when it comes to love stories. This one delivers!
Oh! One more thing. Make sure you have a kleenex...or two.
This was my first book by LA Casey and will definitely not be my last.

I pushed my glasses up the bridge of my nose as I reread the letter from my brother for the millionth time since I received it two days ago. It stated two things. One, my uncle passed away. My godfather and dear friend was gone. And two, I had to go home.
I wasn’t jumping for joy about either fact.
I looked up from the worn paper Lochlan’s letter was scribbled upon and gazed out the window of the train I was sitting inside.
The Yorkshire’s countryside passed me by, and in seconds I was lost in the green beauty of it. Unfortunately, the glamour of the never-ending dreamlike view wasn’t enough to mask the pain in my chest. The horrendous agony quickly brought me back to the present, and it screamed that I couldn’t run from it.
Not this time, Lane, a sour voice in my mind hissed. You can’t escape this.
Nothing beautiful to the naked eye or soothing to the delicate ear could erase the inevitable reality I would soon have to face head on. I shifted in my seat as my stomach roiled at the thought of what the next few days entailed.
Why did this have to happen? I glumly wondered.
