Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my favourite authors to grace the book world. She not only delivers some of the best alpha males, but the fictional world she has created is insanely addictive leaving you trying to figure out how you can pack up house and move permanently into your reading device...seriously, if anyone has figured this out yet, hook a girl up!
So when "Until June" landed on my kindle, I cleared everything on my schedule to jump into her beautiful words, fall head over heels for her unforgettable characters, revisit previous characters and I was absolutely bursting with excitement to feel that "BOOM" deep in my heart and soul.
"Until June" is the story of June Mayson and Evan Barrister. The connection between these two characters is undeniable. From the very beginning, you are pulled into a story that is full of emotion, need, passion and completeness. The second chance in this story evolves pretty quick, and although I kind of expected a little more angst, it works beautifully just the way it is.
I love how REAL the story is. Each character and their thoughts are relatable and that is one of the things that made me devour the book. The steamy scenes are HOTTER than HELL and I love that there is plenty of them.
June Mayson is a perfect character addition to this series. Not only does the girl have a great sense of humour and know how to drink a bottle of tequila, but she is also a very sweet, emotional and the kind of girl who loves with her body, mind and soul. June had me laughing so loud with some of her scenes, and I loved this about her.
Evan Barrister gave me ALL of the feels when reading this book. He is 'oh holy alpha' to the bone, he is fighting his own demons and there are moments in the story that will have you swooning hard for this guy. I love his character, I like HIS back story and the reasons for his actions (all of this will make sense when you read it) and I love that June is and always has been his ONLY girl.
This is another beautifully written book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The characters, their unforgettable love and deep passion will fill you with so much happiness, heart and completeness.

Seeing Evan again is taking a toll on me, I can’t sleep and my mind is in a constant state of turmoil. I wake up in the middle of the night from dreams of us. The memories of him, of us are too much. Some memories have the ability to heal. The ability to light up the dark because the beauty of the memory is so bright you’re still able to bask in it.
But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment I had everything while reminding me it’s gone. It’s the realization that we’re done that’s killing me. The realization that I can see him but can’t touch him that he exist but he’s not mine is agonizing.
