Just friends. We’re just friends. No, really. She’s just my best friend… Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we “hated” each other. We’ve been there for one another through first kisses, first “times,” and we’ve been each other’s constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other…) Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we’ve never crossed the line. Never thought about it. Never wanted to. Until one night changed everything. At least, it should’ve … Just friends. We’re just friends. I’m only saying this until I figure out if she’s still “just” my best friend…

Review by: Tracy

So I have 2 different ratings for this story which may seem odd but bear with me. First and foremost I enjoyed this story. I'm a sucker for friends to lovers books. I love them even more when it turns from lovers to a forever kind of thing.
Carter and Arizona have known each other since grammar school. Even though they hated each other in the beginning, over the years they became best friends. Know on the edge of graduating college, Carter going off to law school and Arizona to culinary school, one night of "just tonight" turns into several nights leading up until their separation.
While I enjoyed the topic and the flow of Sincerely, Carter I had hard time getting into the narrators. The chapters flipped from Carter POV to Arizona POV and instead of swapping narrators when Arizona spoke and when Carter spoke they talked to for both characters. Let me explain that. When it was a Carter POV the narrator spoke for both, or all characters that made an appearance in that chapter. A male narrator pretending to be a young female? No, just no.

As much as I liked Sincerely, Carter I had a hard time liking the audio book.

3.5 stars for audio

4 stars for the story itself
