Never Let You Go by Monica Murphy ♥ FMR REVIEW

ABOUT Never Let You Go

Darkly sexy, emotional and forbidden, a woman unwittingly falls in love with the son of her abductor. The conclusion of a two-book contemporary romance series by New York Timesbestselling author Monica Murphy.

Lies hurt. Lies destroy. I tried my best to understand why Ethan kept his secrets but it was so hard. Until I realized that I couldn't deny myself any longer -- I needed to be with him. We needed each other. Despite my family's wariness, the media's fascination with us, the fact that his father still has a stranglehold on our lives, we belong together. No matter what. I will never let Ethan go. But sometimes love destroys us too, and we're too weak to banish the demons. Especially when our demons are determined to ruin us.

Review by: Cristina

The second book in the Never Tear Us Apart Series will continue to take you on a journey filled with goosebumps and feels that will have you torn over what they should do thanks to their painful past.

"He gave me light, when all I'd ever felt was darkness."

You get the character POVs from their past and present and get a in depth perspectives on what they were all going through. The betrayal and the connection along with the twists will have you conflicted on what path to go. The rape, falling in love with someone forbidden, and the constant struggle to either move on or be with someone who is related and/or is the victim of that one person that has been their nightmare.

"Nothing will ruin us. I will never let you go, Katie. Ever. It's like you're embedded in my very soul."

This series was not an easy read for me. Katie/Katherine and Ethan/Will's unfortunate past was sad, heartbreaking, and disturbing but we were forewarned before starting the read in both books. Although their story started with intense feels and chills the conclusion of the series was just 3.5 stars ok for me. A lot of back and forth which was of course inevitable considering their tragic history. It also answered a lot of questions that came to mind throughout the read.

3.5 Stars
