This story picks up right where Phenomenal X left off. With X in jail after he severely beat his opponent in the ring. That's all I can say at this point. But god, there is so much I want to say about this book but I'm afraid it would contain spoilers and I sure as hell don't want to spoil this book for you.
I could have read this book in one sitting, I had to FORCE myself to put down. I took my time reading it because I didn't want it to be the end. I didn't want to say goodbye to Xavier Cold. But I did and all I can say is that this book was everything I hoped it would be, maybe even more.

This was a wonderful continuation of Xavier and Anna’s story! Anna has really come into herself. She knows what she wants and won’t settle for less than she deserves. She is through letting people control her life and she is grabbing life by the horns. Xavier has to face his past and has to decide if he is strong enough to let the past go to have the future he wants and needs. These two characters have a very strong connection and their chemistry is explosive. I love the direction that the author took with this part of the story. I formed a deeper emotional connection with the characters. I loved watching them grow emotionally. Bonds are tested and renewed. An incredible story!
