This book was absolutely adorable and relatable!! I couldn't believe how much I was able to get into this story. I loved that the characters were close in age with me and really made me feel like anything was possible. The storyline was well done and the characters were greatly appreciated.
I loved the mature characters in this book. Seeing a couple trying to figure it out later in life was refreshing. This couple seemed so believable and compatible. Bohrman wrote them completely vulnerable and the attraction was great to watch develop. Seeing Vanessa making it on her own, raising a daughter and then caught off guard by Cameron was adorable. He was the geeky companion she never knew she needed.
This book was a much needed change for me and I absolutely recommend it. It had depth and real life problems that the author allowed the characters to figure out maturely. I liked the simplicity of the story and the completeness that it represented. Barbie did a great job with this story and it was a great read for me. 4 solid stars and a complete recommend.
