Needing to Fall by Ryan Michele ★ REVIEW TOUR

Title: Needing to Fall
Author: Ryan Michele
Genre: Inspirational Romance
Release Date: January 25, 2016
Cover Designer: Melissa Gill MGbookcovers

Have you ever sunk inside yourself to a place of darkness so deep you couldn’t see the light? Had no hope? Felt completely alone in a world filled with so many people?
I have. I’ve lived it, breathed it.
Why?
Because life hated me.
It disliked me from the moment of conception, despised me when I was born, loathed me when I bounced from each foster home, and kicked me in the gut when I watched the one thing that meant everything to me leave.
For years, I drifted, unable to find my footing, never knowing what the word stable meant. Then a single moment in time rocked me to my core, changing me and making that solid ground I so desperately craved crumble at my feet, causing me to fall farther than I’d ever imagined.
The darkness of the swirling tornado that is depression captured me, pulling me down to its depths, drowning me, suffocating me, owning me.
A depth so deep, I didn’t think I’d survive and didn’t care if I did. I only wanted peace. I wanted the pain to disappear. I wanted to be … free.
Needing to fall into the cyclone of darkness was the only way I could find the light.
**Warning: This book covers many tough issues—including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and abuse. It is a very highly charged, emotional read. 18+ Only. Please note: depression, PSTD, and other issues covered in this book take different lengths of time to combat—some take a lifetime. In this book, time is skewed and sped up to flow with the story line.**

OMG! I am a crying mess right now! This story is bursting with all the “feels”. I am a huge fan of this author, and she just cemented her place in my TBR list for life. This book is easily going to make my Top 5 of 2016 list. It is that good. This book will take you to the edge of what you think you know about PTSD and drop you off the cliff. The detail and description in this story is incredible and I can’t imagine the amount of research that went into writing this book. The author did an amazing job of portraying the characters and the emotions they were going through. Reign and Lynx will leave their mark on your soul. They are both very complex characters. They form a strong bond with each other and their chemistry is incomparable. The way they are there for each other and seem to balance each other out is beautiful. I know this is a book I will read again and again.

I can talk til I'm blue in the face about why I loved this book but I'm not going to do that. Words can't really describe the feelings I had while reading Needing to Fall. While it has happy moments near the end you really had to go through the dark and scary life of Reign. You have to battle the darkness with her and hope that she digs her way out.
I feel as though I really didn't write this review well. This book touched me in so many ways that I truly and honestly don't know what to say. Except maybe Thank You Ryan Michele. Thank you for writing a book on a topic that is so hard for people to talk about. Hopefully the more people talk about it, depression can become less of a stigma.

Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. When she’s not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun.

BLURB:

My name is Tina. I’m a freshman at USC, a good student and friend…

And I’m a victim.

Hot guys make my brain turn to mush. So, the fact that I was arrested then survived a massive earthquake only to be shackled to the fox next to me can all be overlooked, right?

Okay, so I was arrested before I met Luke. A tremor that caused a blackout at the LAPD precinct where we were being held. Although technically, I wasn’t shackled to him, I was handcuffed, but still. Any and all lapses in my usual—totally sane, I might add—judgments, are his fault. Totally.

I wouldn’t typically do the things I did. I’m no outlaw. I’m a college student.

You Shook Me All Night Long is the first book in the Love In The 80's collection and I really enjoyed it! It is super quick read but it's really funny and sweet. I really loved how Luke and Tina met! It was something unexpected. Then all of their little misadventures was just the icing on the cake. Several laugh out loud moments. The story was fast paced and kept me interested through out. I could see Luke and Tina getting another book because those two could get into a lot of trouble! I am really looking forward to the next book in the collection!

Full Domain by Kindle Alexander ~ BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

Title: Full Domain
Series: Nice Guys Novel #3
Author: Kindle Alexander
Genre: M/M Romance
Published: January 12, 2016

Honor, integrity, and loyalty are how Deputy US Marshal Kreed Sinacola lives his life. A former SEAL now employed by the Special Operations Group of the US Marshal Service, Kreed spent most of his life working covert operations and avoiding relationships. Never one to mix business with pleasure, his boundaries blur and his convictions are put to the test when he finally comes face-to-face with the hot computer geek he’s been partnered with. Hell-bent on closing the ongoing case for his longtime friend, he pushes past his own limits and uncovers more than he expects.
Aaron Stuart strives for one thing: justice. Young and full of idealism, his highly sought after computer skills land him a position with the National Security Agency. Aaron’s biggest hazard at his job is cramped fingers, but all that changes when he is drawn into the middle of a dangerous federal investigation. Aaron gets more than he bargained for when the FBI partners him with a handsome and tempting deputy US marshal. His attraction to the inked up, dark-haired man provides another kind of threat altogether. Aaron tries desperately to place a firewall around his heart and fight his developing feelings, knowing one misstep on his part could ultimately destroy him.
The solution isn’t as easy as solving the case, which is treacherous enough as it is. But the growing sexual attraction between them threatens to derail more than just Kreed’s personal convictions as he quickly learns temptation and matters of the heart rarely fit easily into the rules he’s lived by. Will Kreed be able to convince Aaron to open his heart and face the fact that sometimes the answers aren’t always hidden in code?

Review by: Erin

Kreed & Aaron! This story will rock your world. This is not a coming out story. This story is about getting to know someone, not judging a book by its cover, and finally finding your “one”. This story has humor, lust, drama, anger, fear, and lust. I know I put lust twice, but good googly-woogly, you will need dry panties. Their chemistry is combustible. Their connection is strong. The author did an amazing job telling their story. The flirting and innuendo is off the charts. The humor will have you laughing so hard you will be crying. The emotion in this story is incredible. If you are not already a fan of M/M or Kindle Alexander, this book will make you a believer. Each of her books gets better and better. I can’t wait to see what she has in store next!

Review by: Gina

I have read a few Kindle Alexander books and like the other, I enjoyed it very much. This book had suspense, humor and a whole lot of hotness. I was pleasantly surprise with the suspense in this book, it kept me wanting more. There were a few twists and turns that definitely kept me on my toes. When I thought the book was going to be over, but I still have a third of the book left, I was surprise on the little twist that kept the book going. There were some parts that got confusing because of all the character names, all the character nicknames. There were times I had to stop and think who was who. This is the third book in the Nice Guys series and while it can be read as a standalone, the characters from the first two books make several appearances in this book and the stories kind of interconnect so I recommend reading those as well. I did enjoy the little cameo with Tristan and Dylan from the Secret. If you are looking for a book with some suspense and some hot male/male interaction I recommend this book!

Review by: Kim

This is my first by this author and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last.
I don't think I've ever read an author who paid so much attention to what his characters are doing, who they're doing it with and what's happening around them.
This book contained a huge cast of characters and action and not once did I have to go back and re-read anything. It was amazing.
Now that being said, there were a few places where it seemed that the same point had been made several times, but those times always blended in and helped the story along rather than hinder it.
I fell in love with Aaron. His sweet, surly nature captured me from the moment he appeared. His sweet, geeky computer guy guise kept me invested in the story. I worried for him as he found himself in a situation that just wasn't something that he really wanted to be involved in. And I cheered every time he stepped up his game and became the kinda guy that I knew he could be.
There was so much to Aaron, he's deep and secretive. The author keeps us guessing to almost the end before Aaron and all his glory is revealed. And good grief what a secret it is!
Kreed lives his life by following the rules. Rules has always made up his life. Heck, he's a U.S Marshal and it's kind of important that he live by example.
But because of the kind of life he lives, relationships of any kind just weren't on the table for him. Being deep under cover makes it pretty easy to be breezy with thoughts of 'setting up house'.
Until a geeky computer whiz storms into his life and makes him want things that he never thought he would.
Kreed kind of confused me a little. I guess it was because he was the alpha of the story. Except when he wasn't. Then he was sweet and submissive and sensitive. It just threw me a little. But it works for this story.
Together Kreed and Aaron begin a dangerous case all while trying to somehow navigate through all the stuff that goes along with discovering new possibilities.
Mitch cracked me up and the Wal Mart lady made me laugh til I cried.
Full Domain is a really good book full of wonderful feels, hot sweaty sex and a love story so touching it'll have you rubbing your chest.

“You’re so fucking sexy with those fuck-me-I’m-so-smart glasses on and that intense look on your face.” Aaron glanced up and narrowed his eyes as he shoved the glasses off to the top of his head and stretched out his back. There was just something about the big, gorgeous deputy marshal growling those words at him that made his dick want to come out and play. A tired yawn from hours of sitting behind his laptop slipped free as he rubbed his eyes. “And those noises you make are a complete turn-on.” “I have a feeling it doesn’t take much to turn you on. A slight gust of wind would probably have you at full mast,” Aaron teased, lowering the lid to his laptop.

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
