This is a short story (Novella length) about Leah, the Reckless Beat band manager.. If you have read any of the Reckless Beat series you will know who I am talking about and if you haven’t, well, you have no idea what you are missing out on!!

You so need to read them before you read Reckless Rendezvous though or you will have no idea what is going on.

So, Leah lives and breathes Reckless Beat. Everything she does is for them. She has no life outside of her job. That is about to change after an incident takes place that throws her completely off balance. She does a runner & revisits an old ghost (metaphorically speaking!)

Let me say, Ms Summers is bringing sexy back with Leah’s story that’s for sure!!

You may need a fan or a cool cloth while your reading this one, it is hot, it is sexy & it is overwhelmingly emotionally addictive!

From the very beginning you get a sense that Leah is a strong character. She is feisty and ballsy and lets nothing faze her, but as her story develops you see there is much more to her than that. She is a beautiful soul who wants those around her to succeed. To fail any of them is not an option. She feels broken and wants to heal.

And then there is Logan… Hmmm, where can I get me one of him? Yes, you may ask yourself this when you become acquainted with him! He is just what Leah needs. That is all I will say about Logan, you really need to read this book & meet him for yourself…

As usual, Eden Summers manages to find just the right words to weave a spell with her words and creates a story with characters that may appear straight forward on the surface but in reality have many layers that she slowly peels back to showcase their emotional vulnerability, their strength, their weaknesses & their resilience. You can’t help but fall in love with them each and every time. Even though this is a short book you can see the characters grow and change from where they are at the start to where they finish at the end.

I absolutely loved Leah & Logan’s weekend escapades & I have no doubt everyone else will too!!
