HARD BEAT by K Bromberg ~ FMR REVIEW

Foreign war correspondent Tanner Thomas is addicted to living on the edge. Needing the adrenaline rush of his job to help him cope with a personal loss, he throws himself back into the game, concentrating all his energy on getting the next big story.

But when he meets his new photojournalist, Beaux Croslyn, he can’t help but feel like he’s losing his focus—and maybe risking more…

With secrets she won’t address, Beaux is far from your ordinary woman. Determined to keep her distance, she’s willing to pull Tanner in closer and hide behind the sparks flying between them. But as Beaux’s past begins to put their relationship—and their lives—at risk, Tanner’s determination to find the truth puts them both in jeopardy.

He's ready to chase her to the ends of the earth to find out if what they had was real, or if the danger surrounding them was just an exquisite heat fated to burn out…

➡️ Tan Is The Man!

Once again Bromberg pulled at my heartstrings and made me love yet another one of her amazing books.

The way Bromberg finds her stories and puts them into words is flooring. She really does know how to captivate you from beginning to end without any cheesiness or awkward moments. The story just flowed and it was enough to make this "side character" from her "Driven trilogy", a main character in my heart. Yes, we are talking about Rylee's brother - and Sweet Ache was just as fantastic with Colton's sister.

Back to Tanner - he was a man who just had so much guilt and pain it nearly gutted me because you can relate to the possibilities of the events that were going on in the story to real life events. He is a strong and loving man that just needs the right person to guide him through his pain and it is excruciating. It is such a great read, I'm sad it ended but that's the beauty of books - we can reread and reread and reread all we want!

Huge Kudos for all of Bromberg's genius including Hard Beat - I was sucked in from the get go. I would recommend this to ALL.

VERY IMPORTANT:

Hard Beat
Sweet Ache
Slow Burn

....can ALL be read as standalones, I know this because I read all of her books. Yes, you'll get the best effect by reading the "Driven Trilogy" but if you didn't, it still won't take anything away from the beauty of the story she writes.

5 HUGE TANMAN STARS

Review by: Dawn

5 freaking stars Some of the BEST WORK YET!! I have said that I thought when Tanner got his book that he would become My favorite. He surpassed any and all expectations I had. When I started this book I didn't know what to expect. What I got was a truly heartbreaking devastating beautiful love story. Tanners character has intrigued me from when he was first introduced. Reading Tanner's book finally answered questions about him that I always wondered. There were twists and turns that I did not see coming. There was heartbreak. There was suspense. And then there was love. This is definitely like a whole new series but it's not. A definite book I will revisit in the future.

5 Stars

MEET K. Bromberg:

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.

She's a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.

On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat (releasing 11/3/15), Aced (a new Rylee and Colton novel releasing 1/11/16), and a short story titled UnRaveled. She is currently working on new projects and a few surprises for her readers.

She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media.
