Dirty Lies is the story of Dirty B drummer Aidan Burke and Jessie the stubborn, outspoken friend of Sofie, Connor Burkes girl. One night of unbridled sex turns into a fake relationship to play to the media that Aidan isn't really the bad boy everyone thinks he is. Lies. So many lies but what happens when a lie can become the truth?
Holy hell this book is Emma Hart's best book to date. I loved everything about this book from Jessie's scary fangirl of a sister to Mila and the swear jar. It was the perfect mix of feels, laughter and swoon-worthy moments.
The chemistry between Jessie and Aidan was so much to read. The banter, the nicknames and the hot as hell kisses were just the gateway to some pretty intense sexy times.
I highly recommend not only this book but this entire series! I give this 5 I wanna be Aidan's drums so he can bang the heck out of me stars!

CHEMISTRY!!!!!!! That is one of the main things that makes me think of this book! I love it when characters build up this connection and I love it when it reaches that gorgeous peak when you think "OH YEAH BABY, this book is so damn good!"
But let me tell you this, it has been a long time since I've read a book where from the get go, those butterflies have been flying around in my belly, and I'm grinning like a freaking idiot, rooting for a couple to MAKE IT! Aidan and Jessie did more than just bring the chemistry!
Dirty Lies is Book 3 in 'The Burke Brother's' series and my most favourite of them all to date! Oh my freaking sweet baby Jesus, EMMA HART is the queen of the heroines! She makes them SASSY, she makes them INDEPENDENT, she makes them HOT TO TROT and they sure as hell BRING IT ALL to the table! But Jessie the feisty, red haired, pocket rocket made me want to stand up, open my windows and shout at the world "I AM A WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR!" She is just EPIC! And I love just how real she is!

AIDAN IS THE BOOK BOYFRIEND DREAMS ARE FREAKING MADE OF! That dirty talking, drum playing, GORGEOUS, hilarious, beaut of a man.... GODDAMIT!!! Can someone please explain to me just how I'm supposed to get over him? Anyone?????
He is perfection on paper and I've gotta give credit here to the Queen of Hart's YOU DO NOT MAKE IT FAIR TO TRY AND CHOOSE A FAVOURITE, BUT HOLY HOTNESS, he may just take the cake!!!!!
The supporting characters are so perfect to the story! I love seeing appearances from the characters we go to know and love from the other books in the series!
This book is everything I wanted and so much more! There is real emotion behind everything written and I felt the story from start to finish! Emma Hart is one of those authors who I HAVE TO sit and devour every single word! I can't break between, I can't get up to pee, I can't stop reading! This book captured every single part of my attention, bringing the real laugh out loud moments, to the BEGGING on your hands and knees to your kindle (don't judge me, it happened) for this couple to make it work, as well as the 'oh so sexy scenes' that will leave you blushing, hot and just plain crazy!
I'm not spoiling anything about this book! It deserves to be read by each person so they can feel it all for themselves!
Emma Hart, you never fail to blow my freaking mind! Each and every time you deliver something that will stay in my heart! As a huge fan girl/borderline stalker I cannot recommend this book enough! READERS, get on the Burke Brother's Bang Wagon! IT SURE IS ONE HELLUVA RIDE!

It's the lies you have to watch out for. They usually find a way of becoming your truth. It's a chance that Aidan is willing to take while Jessie is more hesitant about it.
When you're associated with the Dirty B's, you also know the logic behind fooling the media. It helps the boys look good while promoting their music. Unfortunately, it's not always so good for the other party. This particular lie was supposed to benefit both of them, help Aidan look good in the media while getting Jessie's ex-boyfriend off of her back. It was supposed to be easy.
This story is easily my favorite in the series. Aidan and Jessie are perfect for each other. They both have a snarky, take no shit attitude. They fight like crazy, yet can have each other laughing again in no time. While the dislike they have for each other has stemmed from when they were younger, once you get to really know someone you see them for who they really are, not who they portray themselves to be.
I could honestly read their story non-stop. If this was a book that never ended, I'd be happy. They just clicked for me. I love couples like this, that bicker back and forth and hate everything about each other while loving it all the same. Emma Hart makes writing look easy, like it just flows so seamlessly from her fingertips and creates the stories that we love so much. She's an author I automatically one-click, no matter what the story is about. She's just that good.

I love this author and her work. No matter where you think a story is going to go it goes in a completely different way. This is one of those times that you don't know what to expect from the story and what you get leaves you completed in a way that you didn't know.
The way this couple starts out is not conventional. This isn't your normal love to hate you story. No its a learn to not want to stab you in the eye type of love story. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. Fighting their feelings for each other is only one thing these two have to deal with. A meddling family and a manger that will do whatever he has to be done. Overcoming it all and admitting their feelings is one of the hardest things they have to do but in the end being together may not be worth it.
I can't say enough about this story or this author. A definite must read series

“This,” she says, pointing to the trees curving around my wrist. “So random. What do they mean?”
“Home,” I answer instantly. “My house has been surrounded by these trees my whole life. I travel so much, sometimes the only time I can remember is when I’m on a tour bus, traveling down the interstate, brushing my teeth. And this helps me remember.”
“And this?” she tugs down the collar of my shirt. “ ‘One, two, three, four’?”
“The words I say before every song,” I explain, thinking of the words that are inked collarbone to collarbone. “Four of the most important words I’ll ever say.”
“And these?” She lifts my shirt this time, revealing the lyrics curving around my left side.
“The lyrics from the first song we ever wrote. It was fucking garbage and never recorded, but the lines are everything to me.”
“ ‘It’s you, baby, it’s you / Your smile, your hair, your lips, your touch,’ ” she reads aloud, finger tracing across the ink wrapping around my side.
“Stop,” I groan, shoving my shirt back down and pushing her hands away.
“Come on!” she laughs. “All of it, Aidan!”
“No!”
“Fine. I’ll just read it next time we line up.”
“You’re gonna have sex with me just to read the tattoo?”
“No.” She sits up and, resting her hand on the grass by the side of my head, looks down at me. “I’m going to make you think we’re having sex, read your tattoo, then run away.”
“What makes you think I’ll let you run away?”
“Didn’t say I’d get very far,” she mutters.
“Do you have an answer for everythin’?”
“Do you have a question for it?” Her delicate brows curve upward, questions in her eyes. “Precisely,” she continues before I can answer. “As long as you keep askin’, I’ll keep answerin’.”
“I have a question.” I sit up, fighting my smile, and push her hair from her eyes. “Can I kiss you?”
Her lips part, shock flickering in her eyes, before she closes her mouth. She shakes her head, a smile forming, and meets my eyes. “Well played, rocker boy. Well played.”
“That isn’t an answer.”
“Yes,” she sighs, leaning forward to kiss me. She tastes like candy apples and soda, sweetness overload, and it would be so easy to get high on her right now.
“There,” she says softly, pulling back. “Answered.”
“Acknowledgment,” I correct her, pulling her closer to me. “This is your answer.”
I kiss her long and hard and deep until I’m sure I really am high on her.
