Synopsis
Dirty.
Imprisoned in a small room within the walls of the Satan's Creed Motorcycle Club compound, Casey Richards struggles to survive the only life she was raised to know. Her mother, a club whore, and her father, an unknown outlaw she’s never met, Casey’s fate is all but sealed in the eyes of the club. Foul. Unclean. Undesirable. Trapped in a loveless marriage, and with no children of her own, Emma Carsen is the only living soul willing to fight for her niece, Casey. She’s all but given up on saving her until the one man she’s longed to see again unexpectedly finds his way back to town and into her life. Sordid. Vile. Unscrupulous. Max Taylor, former-biker of a disbanded MC, has been holding onto reasons to avoid coming back to the small town he grew up in. The same ghosts that drove him away eventually force Max to find his way back. Now that he's home, he may be Casey’s only chance for freedom. Filthy. Hateful. Impure. In order to get to Casey, Max must find a way to infiltrate the MC. Setting up a meet with Hoss, Satan's Creed’s President who’s known for his depravity as much as his double-crossing ways, it’s made clear that forming an alliance is going to be more of a challenge than he expected. Now he must prove his loyalty to the club and in doing so, he’s forced to get his hands… DIRTY.

Review by: Leeann

This is a story about max who left his hometown& is returning after 12 years away. He has come home & realised nothing is the same.

Emilyn has always had a thing for max, but he left & she married someone else. Now he is back & her husband is not happy. But then their marriage wasn’t a happy one to start with.

This is one of those books that has a lot of things going on at the one time and the writing is easy to follow which makes it easy to keep track of what is happening, where it is happening & who is involved it the incident at the time. I enjoyed Max’s character, he is the typical alpha, but he has a sense of humour & you can’t help but laugh at some of his internal dialogue.

Em is a strong woman. She can take care of herself & when things happen to her, you see very fast she isn’t going down without a fight. She stands up for herself & will not be a door mat for anyone,
Including Max and her sense of humour shines through at the funniest of times.

This book is a cliff hanger and I have to say I did like the storyline, I liked the characters & the way they moved along as the storyline progressed and I will definitely be reading book 2 to see what happens next. In saying that I did feel that for the 1stbook of the series where not a lot happens and it is setting up for
Book 2 to pick up where it left off, it was probably  a little bit too long. But that didn’t take away from the build-up of anticipation going into book 2. I think anyone that reads this book whether they like cliff hangers or not will be eagerly waiting to read book 2, although I do suspect that tissues may be required for the 2nd installment of this series.

I am a big fan of this author and her Lights of Peril series!
So when I got the chance to read Dirty I jumped! Now this is a two
part so don’t expect a HEA with this book. Will have to wait for the
story to continue.

Now, this story is a little different from your typical MC book. Max
is not your typical biker. He is not part of a club. He does however
get tangled up with Satan’s Creed MC.

Max is a great character. He is a man that will do whatever is
necessary to help his friends. Emma is a little headstrong, but I feel
she is also easily intimidated. But when dealing with Satan’s Creed
who wouldn’t be?

This story is somewhat dark and deals with disturbing material. The
author did a great job with the detail that went in to some of the
scenes. I would love to be a fly on the wall to get to witness her
creative process! Not sure where she comes up with some of the
stuff, but she makes it into a fabulous book.

Already wishing that the next one was out!

Excerpt
Pursing her lips, her face gets serious again. “I don’t think you should get involved. “You involved me when you asked for help. It’s too late anyway. I’m already in.” “Shit,” she mumbles. Leaning forward in my seat, I rest my elbows on my knees and focus on her face to keep her attention. “I have an intro to Creed tonight. If this goes well, I could have a job. If it doesn’t go well, we will rethink the plan.” Now she looks completely defeated and we’ve only just started. “I don’t have a plan, Max,” she states, standing and putting her hand to her forehead. “What I have is a niece who needs my help, law enforcement in this shit of a town that refuses to acknowledge what’s happening in it, and the only person I think I can count on is meeting with the man who’s to blame for all of it.” “I don’t think Hoss is the biggest problem,” I inform. “If rumor is true, there’s someone else leading this, and that someone is big. Hoss is no one in comparison to who we’re really talking about.”
