Stalker is a story of lies, murder,
betrayal, revenge and love, but not in the conventional way.
Phoenix charged and convicted for a
murder he feels he didn't commit, he breaks out with the sole purpose of
finding the person who put him there. The person he once loved. The person he
is determined to break apart and kill.
Vanessa did what she did. She knows
it. She doesn't do a great job of owning it and she is just as much of a
criminal as Nix is.
This story is told in past and
present dual POV. Each chapter is either Nix or Vanessa's POV with both past
and present portions and I really LOVED that! The time line was followed flawlessly
and there was no blur between past and present.
This story had me intrigued from the
first page all the way to the end. The one thing that sets this story apart
from others is that both characters are just so unlikeable. The are both vile
people with no redeemable qualities and it suited the story perfectly. Maybe
their only redeemable quality was their passion for revenge or maybe the one
redeemable quality was their fucked up way of living each other.
The only thing I didn't like was I
felt that the sex was too soft. Given the circumstances there was too much
willingness and not enough fight.

This is one of the most thrilling
books that I have read in a while. I have to tell you at first I wasn't so sure
I would like it. But the more you read the more you HAVE TO KNOW how it ends.
Nix has got to be one of the hottest bad boys in a book I have EVER read. This
book took me on a ride I didn't want to get off. This will be a re read for me
just because I loved it do much!!!

You know how they say that revenge is
a dish best served cold? Phoenix takes revenge to a whole new level. He's
sinister and malicious. Making sure he ruins Vanessa like she ruined him.
Stalker is definitely a dark read,
not for the faint of heart. It takes you down a dark and dangerous journey, so
be prepared! I finished with my head thinking so many different things. It
definitely screws with your brain, but in a good way.
