Loving Dallas is the second book in the Neon Dreams series. The first book, Leaving Amarillo, was amazing and really hard to top, but Loving Dallas now takes the number one spot! After first meeting Dallas in Leaving Amarillo, I was super excited to hear he was getting his own story. And his story does not disappoint! It is sweet, sexy, and filled with angst!

love when I am reading a story and it is playing out like a movie in my mind. That is exactly how this story played out for me. It was well written, great story line that keep you engaged throughout the book with characters I loved.Dallas is the southern charmer but he knows when to be sweet and when to be a little dirty! Robyn is strong, feisty, goal oriented heroine and I love reading about those types of heroines.

If you second chance romance stories, Loving Dallas is a must read! It was great book from the first page all the way to the last!

“Of all the concerts in the world, she has to be at mine.” BEST PERFORMER LINE EVER!!! I was anxiously waiting for this continuation of the Neon Dreams series and it did not disappoint! Falling in love with Dallas was easy… he was young, a musician and protected his family fiercely. He had sacrificed everything he had for his sister to be comfortable and to finally be living his dream. When that dream presented itself, he took it. He reached for that brass ring and was going to do everything and anything to make those in his life proud. It isn’t until a certain red head walks back into his life, that he realizes that she never left his thoughts.

“Ever feel your ovaries quiver? No? It’s an alarming feeling.” I absolutely loved meeting sassy Robyn Breeland. She was all kinds of southern charm rolled into a spitfire of a woman. She was a strong independent woman with a mountain of drive and determination…add in a side of venerability and she was perfect! She could handle any situation thrown her way…that is until Dallas comes back into her life and then all bets are off.

Watching these two dance around their feeling for each other was comedy and swoon smashed together. His southern drawl and her no nonsense made it all sweeter. They say second chances are hard to come by and I was so glad these two got theirs. Watching their past collide with the present was just the push they needed to be successful. “Because you are my family, baby. You’re my forever”…Totally smitten with this man and his drive for his woman!!!

LOVED THIS BOOK and I absolutely LOVE this series. I will totally shout from the rooftops that Caisey Quinn is a genius and can write amazing books!!! I am in love with her style and commitment to southern charm while delivering beautiful story after story. I 100% recommend this book and give it an easy 5 stars!!! LOVE!!

This was the second book in the Neon Dreams series as well as the second book I have read by this author and I she has gotten me hooked even more with her works!

Dallas Walker Lark’s story is in the early stages of living his dream but is doing it solo with out the rest of the members of Leaving Amarillo. The life as a new artist has it ups and downs and he is learning more and seeing things in this new life as a musician. He eventually realizes what are important thanks to being the opening act to Jase Wade.

Cue in Robyn Breeland. She is the one that got away and unexpectedly is now in the presence on Dallas’s tour thanks to her company, Midnight Bay being a sponsor. When they encounter each other again, feelings start to resurface but the hesitation for more due to their job and pass history tends to hold them back.

“I promise. But I want you, baby. I’ve always wanted you and I will always want you. I already know that. I’ve known for a long time now.”

First love with a possibility for a second chance at being together is definitely never easy and the relationship between Dallas and Robyn clearly shows it. When they are near each other whether for work and/or just to hang out the tension between them is undeniable. There are so many unsure situations being a sponsor and getting involve with the client even though you already have a history with one another. This was a 4.5 stars read that will get your head spinning that entails crossing the line along with the need to keep things on the down low makes this book a recommend must read!

Ok so in Leaving Amarillo, Dallas came across as a very self-centred egotistical man who’s wants, needs & ambitions came before everyone & everything else.
And nothing has changed. He is living the dream & has the ego to match. It really is all about him. What he wasn’t counting on was Robyn coming back into his
life or the fact he is learning some home truths from the people around him that he least expected.
He is learning that not only does the world not revolve around him, but that the people he loves most in the world can & are surviving without him.

Robyn has been forced back into Dallas’s world. She wasn’t prepared for it but enjoys it while she can. She has had to take responsibility for decisions she made
years ago that ultimately changed the course of their lives and put them in the positions they are in today.

There is a villain and she is a royal cow! You may find yourself wanting to jump in & slap her upside the head at times!

This is a story about growing up, taking responsibility for your actions & owning your decisions. But also about forgiveness of yourself & others so you can move forward
& be happy.
I will admit, Dallas & Robyn’s story did start off a little bit slow but that didn’t last long & when it picked up pace it really picked up pace & I couldn’t put it down & I found myself
really not wanting to put it down to do every day things like… oh let’s see… feed the kids!!

Caisey Quinn has done a great job bringing Dallas & Robyn to life & gave them real life problems and situations to deal with. She has also included enough
fantasy/fiction to make it interesting & reel you in and keep you hooked right up until the end.

I really enjoyed this book & now the only question I have is will there be a 3rd book so we can find out what happens with Dixie & Gavin and also be kept up to date
with Dallas & Robyn to see where they go from here?? Cause I really, really wanna know!!

Excerpt
I should’ve changed clothes.
It’s the only thought I can hold on to as the cabdriver drops me in front of Rosa’s Diner, a small fifties-themed place tucked between a run-down hardware store and an all-night pharmacy.
For God’s sakes, I still have my Kickin’ Up Crazy tour sponsor pass dangling from the Midnight Bay lanyard around my neck.
Nice, Robyn. Very sexy.
I yank it off and shove it in my purse knowing that I should not care about being sexy. This is just pancakes with an old friend. An old friend who might not even show.
Just as I whip out my compact to check my makeup, I see him out of the corner of my eye. Dallas beat me here, probably because I took a twenty-five-minute detour of indecisiveness. Snapping the compact shut, I pace for a few minutes.
It’s not a big deal, Robyn. Stop acting like a teenager having lunch with the varsity quarterback. It’s just Dallas,” I whisper-yell at myself. “You’re being ridiculous. Cut it out.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I don’t know why, but it feels like this particular decision is much grander than it warrants.
It’s pancakes. He’s a friend. No big.
But as I open the diner door and a bell chimes overhead, his eyes meet mine and the moment feels monumental. I check the steel cage I erected around my heart the moment I learned he was going to be on this tour. Seems fairly sound, no major breaches so far. That I can feel anyway.
I give Dallas Lark the best I-am-so-over-you, this-is-totally-casual-and-it’s-all-good-in-the-neighborhood smile that I can.
His answering smirk tells me that one thing definitely hasn’t changed—even after all this time.
I’m still a crappy liar.
