Annie escaped her abusive marriage & has managed to rebuild a life for her & her son Eli. She has a wonderful man, Dillon in her life &
feels like she is finally making some progress.
But then her ex-husbands mistakes land on her doorstep & she doesn’t know where to turn.
Dillon loves Annie & he adores Eli. He is an ex-soldier who runs a security company.  He thought things were going great
with his & Annie’s relationship but then Annie starts to change. She reverts back to her old ways of looking over her
shoulder & won’t tell him why.
Then Eli goes missing and they find themselves racing against the clock to find him.

This story starts off full of hope for Annie & Dillon. Their future is bright & promising.  Then tragedy strikes & I swear to god at times while reading
this book my own heart stopped beating!
As a mother I never want to imagine what it would be like to have any of my children taken.
This is a story that demonstrates how good can sometime triumph over evil.
Kirsty Dallas brought this story to life in a way that you find yourself experiencing the emotions of the characters as you are
reading about them.

Kirsty Dallas included what I feel is a profound quote at the end of this book & it really sums up how Annie & Dillon must have felt.
“A day without your child is like a day without sunshine; a month without your child is like a month without laughter; a year without your
child is like a year without your heart; a lifetime without your child is like a lifetime without your soul…”

If you want a book that has you on the edge of your seat holding your breath in anticipation of what happens next then this is a definite
must read.

Saving Ella

This is the best quote I have ever seen in a book "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's  definition  of your life".

Ella sees more than most when she looks at people. The day she met her mother's new husband when she was 13 years old, she looked into his eyes and knew he was going to hurt her.
She was thrown into a cycle of years of abuse. The worst part is that he mother was so self absorbed she continually placed her daughter in situations that allowed the abuse to happen.

When Ella is almost 18 she is pushed to her limits and runs. Now years later she has come across a place called Mercy's  shelter for abused women and her she meets Jax. Her guardian angel.

Jax has his own demons and needs to overcome them so he can be with Ella.

This is a story that is both heart wrenching and heartwarming at the same time. One thing that stands out is Ella resilience. She has the strength and determination to overcome everything life throws at her.
This is a story that makes you feel. You will feel all the emotions Ella experiences, you will laugh on one page and cry on the next.

If you like the sort of books that make you feel and keep you hooked and turning the pages because you just can't put it down then check out this book, it is awesome!!

Tortured Soul

Imaging being stripped of your dignity, human rights, your rights to feelings & lastly, your will to live…
That’s what has happened to Emily.
This is not a story about a submissive and a dominant, what Emily went through was simply abuse, In its worst form.
She was groomed and conditioned at the age of 16 by the devil himself. At some point he married her off to his son. When his son died
he reclaimed her. Doesn’t sound like much of a life so far, right? Well it just gets worse for her.
Until Braiden.. He has come to save her.

Braiden has a unique skill set.. He is a trained assassin!!
He has left that life behind & now owns and runs a security company with his cousin.
He feels an attraction to Emily that he doesn’t understand. He is trying to ignore it, but it gets harder & harder.

This is a heartbreaking story about a girl who simply put her trust in the wrong man & he abused that trust. There were moments when I was reading,
particularly when Emily was having flashbacks where I wanted to bawl my eyes out. No one should ever suffer the way she did.
But Emily possesses a steely determination to relearn how to live after being held captive for so many years.
Her story is full of hope & even though it is fiction, you can’t help but admire her strength and her resolve to reclaim herself.

This is a book you won’t want to put down one you start reading about Emily’s journey & how it led her to back to her sister & to Braiden where
she belongs.

Well worth the read!!
