This story is beautiful. Devon and Tegan will make you cry. I love a good second chance romance. I love seeing characters go through the whole range of emotions. This story definitely has that! The love that these two characters have held for each other over the years is beautiful. Neither one ever got over the other. I am amazed at all the emotion and detail the author was able to convey in the story.
The story is full of love and passion, but also has the added element of the “crime family” and all their drama. Devon will do whatever it takes to protect Tegan from the danger he knows she is in. He also knows that he will never be able to walk away from Tegan again. His heart won’t be able to function without her. He is surprised it has held out this long.
