Ryder is a former fighter turned business owner who also runs underground fights is a hard man. Hardened by his past he a get in, get off, get out type of guy. The only think he gets serious about are his businesses and the money he gets from the fights.
Cassie flees from England leaving her past behind only to go home to Atlanta to find her brother Jamie owes a gambling debt to Ryder. Cleaning up after Jamie is nothing new to Cassie so she makes an arrangement with Ryder to work off her debt. What happens when that arrangement turns into something more and the past comes back threatening to ruin everything?
Holy hell is this book good! Wow. Just wow. Hard is the first book I ever read by Eve Jagger and I am an instant Fangirl! This book hooked me from page 1. The writing was fantastic and the author did a great job of just sucking the reader right in. The plot line was fantastic with a few twists that I did not see coming! The characters were all amazing! Cassie was a great character though she kept her secrets, she didn't let them define her or keep her from getting involved with Ryder. Ryder was so swoon worthy! Bossy and sexy and just all together hot! The chemistry between them was scorching and the sexy times were just scorching. Every character, even the awesome cast of secondary characters, were developed beautifully.

Every now and then you pick up a book and not really think about it, just read it and let it take you away from the daily grind. Well let me tell you I totally loved this book and I love a Strong. Arrogant. Hard. Ryder!! Ryder is all that and more...Sexy cocky and he has it all too.
I loved the storyline and the chemistry was sizzling hot. It's one of those books you just want more and more and you never want it to end.
I totally recommend you pick it up today and read HARD!!
