Synopsis:
Bliss Carrington has known Jimmy most of her life, since Kindergarten to be exact. He took on the role of the big brother Bliss never had, breaking Bliss out of her shy shell, encouraging her to have fun in high school, and pushing her to live her life. It’s always been friendship between them until one day, she realized, it wasn’t. Now seeing women everywhere swoon over Jim Brason, NFL's head quarterback of the New York Cougars, is enough to drive her to madness.

Jim Brason, an alpha whore, is on a fast track to fame and money. In all this craziness, the one person who keeps him sane, keeps him whole is Bliss. He’s been in love with her since before forever, but she doesn’t know and can never find out. He’s a firm believer that history repeats itself. With his tainted past, he’s afraid he’s fated to hurt her if he allows himself to follow his heart.

Bliss watched this boy grow into a man and it wasn’t fair that someone else would get to keep him when in her heart, she knew he only ever belonged to her.

Can their friendship survive? Can she live pining over a guy who will never commit? She doesn’t want to live like this, but she doesn’t know a life without him either.

EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED is a story of Love, Loss, and Longing for the boy you grew up loving.

I adore this book. I honestly couldn't put it down and I think I finished it around 2 in the morning. It's such an emotional story that for about 70% of the time tears were threatening to fall.

I love Bliss, she is everything I want in a character. She has had a few rough patches in her life, that she is still trying to figure out. Luckily she has had her best friend Jimmy by her side since she was six years old.
I love love Jimmy, he is the right amount of charming and hot. He isn't too cocky where you get annoyed, and he treats Bliss with so much love.
He is the quarter back for the New York, which in no way puts a strain on their friendship. Other things do, but they always find a way back to one another.
This is defiantly a story I will want to relive. I only beg that Mia write a second book, I really want to read more about Bliss and Jimmy.
It's not often that you find a friendship like the one they have, even they know how rare it is. They also know how hard you have to fight for your friendships.
Bravo Mia!

OK I both enjoyed and felt frustrated with this story!

This is a story about Bliss and Jimmy. They have been besties since they were 6 years old. Now they are madly in love with each other but no one wants to admit to it and ruin the friendship.
Jimmy has the attitude that "I can't have you and I don't want anyone else to have you".
Bliss watches his sex life play out in the media and it guts her every time she sees it.
That's the frustrating part.
When they have their aha moment though, it is a truly beautiful moment and everything clicks into place. For a short time anyway. Then there is an incident the have their very new relationship taking 10 steps backwards to being non existant.
This story is full of ups and downs and takes a terrible accident for both Bliss and Jimmy to decide to fight for their relationship.
There are some highly emotional moments in this story and you will want to keep reading to see how it all plays out.
If your looking for a well written interesting and emotional story, I would recommend this book for you.

Bliss Carrington and Jimmy Branson have been best friends for as long as they have known each other since the age of six. They have shared experiences and adventures, been there for each other through the good and the bad, and regardless where life has taken them after high school they still have such a close connected bond.

"I…I love you, Boo. No amount of miles will ever change that. You can call me whenever you want – to talk about your dad, to shoot the shit, whatever. Okay? If you need me here, I’ll be on the next flight back.” He inhaled deeply through his nose and exhaled through his mouth. “Nothing’s going to change, I promise you that, and you know when I promise, I mean it."

As time passes Bliss’s feelings grow to something more and must keep it to herself. Jimmy’s tainted history keeps him from being with anyone serious, afraid to ruin/break anyone that matter to him.

"Boo, I love you.” It was a simple statement, something he’d been saying to me since we were children. But those words meant so much more to me now, more than the words meant to him. It was almost as if he was saying, The sky is blue. There was no inflection, no passion. It was just pure fact.

This 4 stars read will have you feeling (in all forms) the love, loss, hesitation, hope, and need for someone that hold dear to your heart. Bliss and Jimmy's story is one that will have you seeing that anything is possible regardless of the situations that were presented before them.

About The Author:

Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who lives in Illinois. On the weekdays, she can be caught wearing a suit, commuting to her corporate job in downtown Chicago and raising three beautiful munchkins in the suburbs, four if you count the husband.

In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.

Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.

She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.
