When You Are Mine by Kennedy Ryan

Book 1 of the Bennett Series
Kerris Moreton grew up going from foster home to foster home never really feeling like she belonged or that she felt loved. So when she met Cameron Mitchell, a man who had a similar upbringing as she did, she felt that maybe he could give her the life and future she was hoping for.  She loves him but she doesn’t get the butterflies in her stomach feeling when they are together. She isn’t sure she will ever have those feeling because of her past.
Until she meets Walsh Bennett.
Walsh Bennett who grew up with Cameron, who was like a brother to Cameron. Ladies’ man, doesn’t do relationships Walsh Bennett. He rethinks that he views the minute he see Kerris, though at the time he didn’t know who she was, and by that time it was too late.
Walsh wants her to be happy. Kerris tells her self she is happy with Cameron and that she is meant to have the life with Cameron.
Can they both just walk away from the feelings that they have for each other?
Ok, so I have mixed feelings for this one. I like a love triangle just as much as the next person but Kerris was frustrating. She marries Cameron for all the wrong reasons and falls for Walsh along the way. I got whip lash with her feelings for the both of them.  And Walsh? Instead of just telling them how he felt, he goes behind Cameron’s back. Of course Cameron’s going to be pissed. What did you expect? So what does Walsh do? He runs. Seriously?

Loving You Always

Book 2 of the Bennett Series
We pick up with Kerris and Cameron moving on with their life, happy (at least on the surface) and pregnant. And Walsh…well Walsh threw himself into work and hasn’t looked back since.
Kerris and Cameron start discussing the future. Cameron wants to start painting and Kerris is only thinking about what is best for the baby. Arguments start, accusations start being thrown, accidents happen…..accidents that will change the lives of everyone.
So this one moved a little better than the last and had more of a storyline that wasn’t so irritating. The only thing I didn’t like was Cameron, MAN I know he was a jerk in the first book but he turned into a real prick in this one. He lost all swoon worthiness about him. Walsh on the other hand, never lost any love he had for Kerris, kept his distance and was there for him when she needed him. He won MAJOR brownie points with me.

Be Mine Forever

Book 3 in the Bennett Series
So if you have made it this far you have and have read books 1 and 2 you have read that Kerris and Walsh have gotten their happy ending (finally) so of course Cameron needed his too.
Enter Jo…Jo is the cousin of Walsh and grew up with both him and Cameron. Both Walsh and Cameron protected her, like she was a sister. Except Jo has loved Cameron ever since she met him all those years ago. Cameron has loved Jo but never acted on it, always thought he was never good enough for her.
So I loved this one. Cameron got all his swoon worthiness back. We really got to know what kind of past he came from but that he really did deserve to have that all-encompassing love that Jo wanted to give him. Of course love is never easy and they have HUGE obstacles to overcome…I am not sure they will be able to…. Cameron needs his happy ending too!

Excerpt
At thirteen years old, Jo had fantasized about her first kiss. In her mind, it would be with Cam. She had practiced on her pillow and French-kissed her hand. She had positioned herself just so during Spin the Bottle, but Cam’s bottle had never landed on her. He’d never even hinted that he’d wanted to kiss her, that he fantasized about her, too. So all she’d had were daydreams. And in those daydreams, Cam nibbled at her lips. Slipped his tongue into her mouth, shy as she was. He was gentle and careful.
This was not that kiss.
This kiss was made of sweet smoke and embers. It sizzled on her lips and seared her senses until she could only feel and taste and touch and see him. The whole universe whittled down to this man completely possessing her with a kiss. Sucking her tongue into his mouth. Pulling her lips between his teeth for tantalizing bites.
Cam walked them backward with slow, measured steps until he eased onto the bench, never leaving space between their mouths. He pulled her bare legs to either side of his hips, pressing against her back until her breasts were crushed against his chest. He lowered his head, nudging the straps of her camisole aside with his lips and sucking on her naked shoulder. Jo moaned, tipping her head back until her hair rained between her shoulder blades. Cam pushed the camisole down around her waist and pulled her breast into his greedy mouth. With every pull of his lips and tongue, she rolled her hips against him, a steady, sensual syncopation that shoved Jo over the edge. She took shelter against his chest, gripping his neck, huffing hot air into the collar of his shirt. Her thighs tightened around his hips, and her body released in shivers and whimpers and shudders.
She stilled little by little, falling against him, limp and pliant. Cam pushed her hair behind her shoulders, raining kisses over her collarbones and nipples until they peaked and begged for his mouth again. He suckled at her, sliding his hands inside her shorts, squeezing her butt and urging her against him.
“Cam, I just—”
“I know.” He looked up, anointing her nipples with his words. “It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I want it again and again and again.”
